(*Note* Previous ranking in parentheses, prospect pictures(where available) following each player capsule) 1) Anthony Johnson (O.P. Walker) DT (6-2, 296) - LSU commit. Also has offers from Oklahoma, California, and Tennessee, among others. Incredible athleticism (electronic 5.08) for his size. Originally committed to Tennessee, but switched to LSU when Frank Wilson left the Vols for Baton Rouge. Able to track down RBs in pursuit to the outside. Nimble enough to nail down scrambling QBs. Exceptional bull rusher. Had 16 sacks and 21 TFL as a junior. (1)

2) La'el Collins (Redemptorist) OT (6-5, 285) - Considered by many to be the top prospect in this class. LSU commit. Anchors line for teammate (and fellow LSU commit) Jeremy Hill. Also has offers from Florida, Florida State, and California, among numerous others. Looks for someone to block until the whistle blows. Played on both sides of the football much of the time last year. Has the frame to put on a lot more weight. Despite a listed 5.5 (40), he is able to get off the line and pull on running plays. (2)

3) Jermauria Rascoe (Evangel Christian) DE (6-3, 230) - Has been a key member of Evangel's defense since his 8th grade year. Has a ton of offers, including Texas, Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, UCLA, and Tennessee. Has the athletic ability of a linebacker. Able to move laterally and stop plays away from his side. Big hitter. Attended Junior Day at both Texas and Bama. There's rumors that Texas - which always loads up its classes early - may already be full at DE (which, of course, would make LSU and Alabama very happy). (3)

4) Greg Robinson (Thibodaux) OG (6-5, 296) - Phenomenal athlete. Drives his man back several yards on running plays. Gets out of the blocks in a hurry when he pulls. Earned All-Combine honors at the U.S. Army Bowl. Ran a stunning 4.88 in the 40 and a 4.64 in the shuttle at the combine. Has offers from USC, LSU, Auburn, and Arkansas, among others. (7)

5) Jeremy Hill (Redemptorist) RB (6-1, 220) - LSU commit. Powerful runner between the tackles. Has a nifty spin move and shows an extra gear once he reaches the open field. Uses his strength to bulldoze his way through the wedge on kick returns. Outstanding balance. Attended Junior Day recently at Alabama. Has offers from Bama, Florida State, and Tennesssee, among others. (4)

6) Kenny Hilliard (Patterson) RB (6-0, 220) - LSU commit. Tremendous strength. Prefers to deliver a blow to defenders rather than run out-of-bounds. Almost always moves the pile forward. Runs the Wildcat offense at times. Dots the I at TB for many carries. Effective with stiff-arm. Has offers from Miami, Notre Dame, and Alabama, among many others. Rushed for 1,947 yards and 24 TDs last season. It's rumored that Hilliard is currently up to 240 lbs. No question that he has the bloodlines, but he may need to refrain from getting too bulky. (5)

7) Jarvis Landry (Lutcher) WR (5-11, 180) - Leading statistical receiver in the state as a junior. Caught 62 passes for 1,158 yards and 13 TDs. Has offers from LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Tennessee. Surprisingly strong for his size. Skilled kick returner. Does an excellent job of blocking. Could see action at QB this fall. (6)

8) Corey White (Capitol) OT (6-4, 307) - LSU commit. Left-tackle for blue-chip QB Terrance Broadway. Good dexterity for such a big young player. Light on his feet. Able to dominate pass rushers much of the time. Doesn't generate much talk in recruiting circles, but he's a very solid OL. (8)

9) Bradley Sylve (South Plaquemines) WR (5-11, 175) - Explosive receiver who dominates on the Class A level. Able to split a double-team with ease. Dangerous kick returner with elite speed. Also a track star. Suffered a season-ending injury in the first game of his junior year. LSU is the big favorite for Sylve's services, according to reports. Has offers from LSU, USC, Alabama, California, Tennessee, and others. (9)

10) Mickey Johnson (St. Paul's) DT (6-1, 305) - Tenacious defensive lineman with amazing strength. Benches 420 and is rumored to squat over 700 pounds. Eye-opening speed with a 5.0 at that size. Johnson's recruitment has taken off recently. Has offers from Nebraska, LSU, Tennessee, Tulsa, Baylor, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and more. (11)

11) Terrance Magee (Franklinton) ATH (5-10, 200) - Put up huge numbers last year as QB of prolific Franklinton offense. Expected to play RB on the next level. Strong enough to simply push aside DBs when he runs the football. Reaches top speed in a hurry. LSU commit (10)

12) Chuck Hunter (West Monroe) DT (6-1, 295) - Key member of 5A state championship team. Able to work through double teams and still get the sack. Quick first-step and burst at the snap enables him to make many plays in the backfield. Attended Mississippi State's Junior Day recently. Reports have surfaced that the Bulldogs offered Hunter this week. (12)

13) T.K. Fleming (Benton) S (6-3, 200) - Already has offers from Nebraska, UCLA, Louisville, Oregon, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech, and SMU, among others. Prototype size with 4.5 speed and elite athleticism. Won both the long jump and triple jump at the recent state indoor track meet. (22)

14) D'haquille Williams (East St. John) WR (6-3, 190) - Big-play wideout for the Wildcats averaged over 26 yards per catch as a junior. Caught 39 passes for 1,027 yards and 17 TDs. Had four TD receptions vs. both Destrehan and Istrouma. Plays with enthusiam. Has the speed to split double-teams and the hops (and height) to get above defenders when the ball is in the air. Shows his versatility by playing Wildcat at times. Although he's lanky, Williams is strong enough to break arm tackles in the open field. Not afraid to go across the middle and make the tough grab. Is under-the-radar for some reason. (24)
15) Ryan Byrd (St. Helena) WR (6-1, 180) - Sub 4.60 speed allows Byrd to get separation from DBs for the home run. Able to go up and make the tough grab in traffic. Dangerous in space on bubble screens. Has surprising strength for somewhat-slight frame. Consistently beats corners by several yards on deep passes. Makes plays all over the field on defense as well. Has offers from Ole Miss and Minnesota. Some feel that Byrd will receive an LSU offer to play DB. (13)

16) Quentin Thomas (Breaux Bridge) DT (6-3, 265) - Has an LSU offer. Able to track down QBs from behind. Can put on a lot of weight and still maintain his speed. Doesn't give up on a play. Pursues and makes things happen all over the field. (14)

17) Odell Beckham, Jr. (Newman) WR/CB (5-11, 175) - Has an LSU offer. Able to adjust on the run and make the grab on difficult passes thrown behind him. Has a nose for the football at corner. Father played RB for LSU. Starred alongside LSU commit Ronnie Vinson at Newman last fall. (15)

18) Zack Oliver (Catholic BR) QB (6-4, 220) - Poised, confident passer who operates out of a college-style offense. Nice touch and accuracy. Able to throw on the run to either his left or right. Not a speed merchant, but shows good athletic ability running the occasional spread option. Has offers from Northwestern, Tulsa, and Arkansas State. Attended LSU's Junior Day. Some feel that the Tigers might offer Oliver in the upcoming months. (18)

19) Rod Davis (Many) WR (6-3, 185) - 4.5 speed. Leading receiver (44-518, 12 TDs) for ground-oriented team. Tremendous leaping ability. Basketball standout. Has sticky hands. Rarely drops a pass and shows exceptional ability to go up and get the football. A big-time threat in the red zone on fade routes. Mississippi State and Nebraska has expressed recent interest. (17)

20) Renaldo Thomas (St. Augustine) S (6-4, 205) - Rangy safety is the cousin of Chad Jones. Poised to be a breakout player this year. Has offers from Michigan, LSU, and SMU. Has added 20 pounds since last season. Runs a 4.65. (33)

21) Alonzo Lewis (St. James) WR (6-3, 195) - LSU commit. Also has offers from Tulsa and Houston. Plays in a Wing-T offense, so he doesn't get the touches of a wideout in a spread attack. Caught 16 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns as a junior. Didn't have a great combine at the U.S. Army Bowl. Ran a 4.92 in the 40 and a 4.71 shuttle. Missed substantial time with injury last year. It's been reported that Lewis ran a sub-4.4 at LSU's football camp last year. Could switch to LB in college. (16)

22) Devante Scott (Ferriday) ATH (5-10, 181) - Mississippi State commit. A jack-of-all-trades. Played RB, WR, Wildcat, FS, KR, K, and P last year. Scored 21 TDs in 2009. Ran for 674 yards, added 783 receiving yards, and racked up more than 800 return yards. Runs a 4.5 and benches more than 365 pounds. Dynamic player who dominates in 2A. Projected as a slot WR or DB (and he'll definitely return kicks) in college. (NR)

23) Paul Turner (West Monroe) ATH (5-10, 185) - Led West Monroe to the 5A championship as a QB. Likely will move to WR in college. Electric runner. Very accurate passer (90-of-134, 1,522 yards as a junior). Ran for 1,062 yards on 137 carries (7.75 ypc) and 22 TDs last season, including amazing 86-yard jaunt in state title game. Attended Mississippi State's Junior Day. (19)
24) Beau Fitte (South Plaquemines) OLB (6-0, 205) - First-team all-state performer. Adept pass-rusher off the edge. Takes good pursuit angles on running plays away from his side. Lined up as a WR at times. Picked up recent offers from LSU and Louisiana Tech. Arkansas is interested as well. Fitte reportedly favors Tech at this point, due to the fact that both his brother and another former teammate (Seth Ancar) are Bulldogs. (23)

25) Dak Prescott (Haughton) QB (6-3, 220) - Among the top 10 passers in the state as a junior. 4A honorable-mention all-state QB behind Mr. Football Gavin Webster of Lutcher. Completed over 50 percent of his throws for more than 2,000 yards and 27 TDs. Only seven interceptions. Plays basketball is actually athletic enough to be a LB on the next level. Isn't blazing fast, but there's no question that he's a dual-threat QB. (30)

26) Trai Turner (St. Augustine) OT (6-4, 340) - The main question about Turner is his height. He's listed at anywhere from 6-2 to 6-5. Obviously, at his weight, the taller - the better. Michigan and SMU have offered. Turner attended the LSU Junior Day and it's rumored that the Tigers will offer. It would help Turner's stock to reduce his weight a few pounds. Ran a 5.58 (40) and a 5.43 (shuttle) at the Scout.com combine last year. Needs to improve his conditioning. (NR)

27) Levander Liggins (Leesville) ATH (5-11, 185) - Has played QB and WR. Expected to make the move to slot receiver or DB in college. Arkansas State has offered. Named to MaxPreps' national Top 100 players to watch in the Class of 2011. (20)

28) Matt Bailey (Karr) S (5-10, 190) - Virginia commit. Plays LB, but projected as a safety on the next level. Does a good job dropping back in zone coverage. Has a knack for shutting down outside running plays. (21)
29) Jonah Austin (St. Augustine) OT (6-5, 315) - Austin is a legit 6-foot-5. He has offers from Michigan and SMU, as does his teammate (and fellow OT) Trai Turner. Although Austin is lighter than Turner, Austin ran a slower shuttle (5.43) than Turner (at the Scout Combine). Turner seems to be a little more athletic at this point and thus garners a slightly higher ranking than Austin. (NR)

30) Dante' Butler (Brother Martin) RB (5-10, 200) - Thick runner with the strength to shed tacklers and the burst to pull away from the pack. Catches the football well out of the backfield and slips defenders with good cutting ability. Rarely brought down in the open field by a lone tackler. Rushed for 278 yards and five TDs vs. John McDonogh. (25)
31) Darren Kitchen (Vandebilt Catholic) CB (6-1, 175) - Nebraska and Stanford have offered. First-team all-district selection. Had 64 tackles and four picks as a junior. Some schools are looking at him as a WR. Caught 40 passes for 560 yards and four TDs last year. Claims a 38-inch vertical and 4.4. (26)
32) Kris Albarado (St. Louis Catholic) P (6-0, 185) - 4A first-team all-state punter. Averaged 41.6 yards per punt last year. Had six punts of 50+ yards, 10 punts downed inside the 10-yard line, five punts downed inside the five-yard line, and only six punts returned for positive yardage. No. 1 punter in the Class of 2011, according to Chris Sailer Kicking. (27)
33) Deshazor Everett (DeRidder) S (6-0, 170) - Everett's recruitment has exploded lately. Picked up recent offers from Arkansas, Mississippi, and Memphis. Plays near the line in high school and is surprisingly physical for his size. Seems to always be in the right spot at the right time. Opportunistic player. (NR)
34) Effrem Reed (Dutchtown) RB (5-9, 175) - 335 bench, 550 squat. Excels at running the sweep in Wing-T offense. Listed anywhere from 4.38 to 4.50. Seems to hit stride almost immediately once he gets the football. (29)

35) Devin Boutte (Catholic New Iberia) WR (5-10, 175) - Caught 70 passes for 1,426 yards as a junior. Also ran for more than 400 yards. Strong (295-pound bench) and speedy player who can take it to the house on any touch. (NR)

36) Josh Robinson (Franklinton) RB (5-9, 185) - 4A first-team all-state performer. Carried 96 times for 1,293 yards and 22 TDs last season. Very strong. (28)
37) Johnny Bertucci (Archbishop Rummel) DT (6-1 1/2, 265) - Has offers from Louisiana-Lafayette and Air Force. Intelligent player with stellar work ethic. Had a nice showing at the recent National Underclassman Combine. (NR)

38) Teshadi Talton (West Monroe) RB (5-9, 160) - Talton has another year to go in the classroom, but he has exhausted his eligibility on the field (for an LHSAA school). There's talk that Talton will transfer to MPSA River Oaks Academy next year. If that works out, look for him to be untouchable vs. that level of competition. Talton is a sprinter with exciting film (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MD7CO_5Wtk) (NR)
39) Cartel Murray (Thibodaux) CB (5-9, 170) - Plays safety on the high school level. Wraps up well in run support. Intercepted three passes as a junior. Flashes great speed on kick returns. (31)
40) Timothy Johnson (Karr) OLB (6-1, 210) - Holds a Minnesota offer. Plays DE for the Cougars, but projects as an outside linebacker in college. (32)
41) Jonathan Tyson (West Monroe) LB (6-1, 242) - First-team all-state. 81 tackles, eight TFL, four sacks. Has ideal size for an inside backer. May be underrated here, but no film available. (34)
42) Charles Butler (Southern Lab) LB (6-0, 235) - There isn't any film available on Butler, but he's highly-regarded by ESPN. Sounds like he could be a LB in the mold of Baylor's Earl Patin (who is a Southern Lab product). (35)
43) Michael Petty (ASH) DB (6-0, 185) - Agressive against the run. Always seems to be in position vs. the pass. 4.68 speed, 32 inch vertical. Good student (3.6 GPA) (36)
44) Ethan Hutson (Destrehan) OG (6-4, 295) - Anchors line at left tackle, but expected to make the transition to guard in college. Recently received his first offer from Tulane. Son of Tulane's offensive line coach. (37)
45) Evan Tatford (St. Thomas More) TE (6-5, 230) - Ideal height with the frame to pack on pounds. Tulane and Louisiana-Lafayette have offered. (NR)
