He was definitly off due to unrelenting pressure. But he got hit on his left knee mid way of 2nd qtr and limited his ability to run and throw. He was limping very noticably leaving the dome.

He threw for over 200 vs. SCC.

I heard he took a hit to the lower body in the first half...and that he had trouble planting to throw after that.

Couldn't get the proper weight on his leg.

I'm jealous that you get to live it up down there in New Orleans while I'm sitting alone at home. You young whippersnapper. I'll bet you've never been called that before.

I've got to tell you. Evangel dominated Curtis tonight.....Even after the quick 80 yd TD....I felt good about this Eagle team....They were very focused.

When the Evangel offense came in and immediately moved the football down the field....I felt like we would win....When I saw our defense "bringing it"....I was assured.

I've been on the Evangel sideline for many a state championship game. I was always nervous throughout the game.....Not tonight....With the way the Eagle offense was shredding the Curtis defense & the way the Evangel defense was "stoning" the Curtis offense....I knew the Eagles had this game.

The couple of dropped TD passes & dropped interception for a TD only served to keep the score on the scoreboard appear like Curis barely lost....they were dominated.

I agree with what Clean said earlier....the Eagles were much more physical & did something few before could ever do...........dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

I happened to squeeze into the post game interview with JT Curtis. He was not humble at all...not giving Evangel their due respect for a great performance. I would think a great football coach like JT would admit to it when his football team had their hat handed to them.

I know David Dee Duron had a great game....but I would have to have given the MVP to the Evangel Defense collectively.

Evangel/Curtis series now stands at 2-2.

I would have to say that the two big boys in the middle Johnathan Nard & Brandon Jackson had great games....playing almost every snap on both sides of the ball. They did not seem to fatique while the Curtis linemen looked gassed all night.

Congratulations to the Eagles for a complete team victory!

Splash and Clean were both right. The game was won on the LOS. I have never seen our DL play like they did tonight. Brandon Jackson (DT) and Cameron Garlington (LB) played the games of their life Fri night. I will dub the films on Mon and be able to say more without having to sight though a 2 inch screen. Congrats to a great season to the Patriots,,,,,,,,got a first class program and I know they will be back very soon.

Thank you, would love to see the Farmers, heard nothing but good things about your club. After watching the film today, I was in awe of how our DL played. I would put our defense up against just about anyone. I am not saying we would beat Neville or WM but it would be a great challenge and I believe we could be very competitive. I counted a possible another 20 points if we could have caught the football. One dropped int by #12, #2 dropped a bomb that would have scored,#9 I believe would have scored on a long throw that he dropped cause their were two ECA WR ready to block and one Patriot between him and the goalline. Also our QB scrambled a little too soon, the pocket was not breaking down, just as he scrambled #9 came into the picture wide open, if he could have just waiting another second. Anyway, the Patriots are a class program and I would assume will be back next season ready to go for it all again. I have a lot of respect for the Patriots and their coaches.

In case you didn't know it, Shiloh Christian, the only team to beat Evangel this year has won the 2009 Arkansas 4A state championship.

I would love to see them play Evangel now. I believe Evangel is at least two touchdowns better than Shiloh. In fact they were two touchdowns better than Shiloh when they played them in September. But those two touchdowns were erased by penalties and Shiloh got a one point win.
